Evan Dudik is President of Evan M. Dudik & Associates (EMD), a business strategy consultancy headquartered in Vancouver, Washington State, USA.
For over 25 years, EMD has provided strategic analysis, operations efficiency and profitability improvement to clients such as General Electric, Siemens, Novartis, Daimler, Tenet Healthcare, McKesson and Johnson and Johnson. EMD has also assisted numerous medium sized public firms and venture/private equity-funded startups across a broad range of industries. His work includes competitive strategy, go-to-market strategy, pricing, sales force effectiveness, operational cost-reduction/quality improvement and acquisition/investment due diligence. EMD has often focused on helping companies succeed with new product development and new product launching.
Evan has founded companies in the wood-products, medical ultrasound, and geothermal energy spaces. Evan spent a number of years in Washington, DC as an energy conservation research project manager and lobbyist in energy conservation and transportation for DC-based trade associations.
Prior to founding EMD, Evan spent six years with McKinsey and Company in its Los Angeles office, leading consulting projects for many well-known client companies.
Evan has served on the board of directors of the Clark County YMCA, NAITO Corporation (a commercial real estate company) and St. John’s College, Annapolis, MD and Santa Fe, NM. He has been active in the Boy Scouts of America and the Columbia Land Trust. He holds two medically-related patents.
Evan earned a BA (magna cum laude) from St. John’s College in Annapolis, MD in 1972, a PhD from the University of Texas-Austin (1976) and an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School (1984). He is the author of Strategic Renaissance, published in 2001 by the American Management Association. He lives in Vancouver, Washington with his fantastic entrepreneurial wife, Jane and has three terrific sons.
